Although it's only the beginning of July, retailers are already gearing up for the upcoming school year. Within a matter of days, binders, notebooks, pencils, and pens will be hitting the shelves. Our family is LOVING the slow pace of summer, and we are definitely not ready to resume to structured schedule of the annual school routine.
However, we are ready to start saving money on the school supplies that we'll need for the upcoming year. In an effort to help others get the biggest bang for their school supply buck, I've teamed up with an awesome group of bloggers to share the best weekly back to school sales and deals. At the beginning of each week, I'll be posting a "School Supply Round-Up". Each round-up will include links for the following back to school bargains:
Target - Amy from Cutting Coupons in KC
CVS - Kristi from More Than Cents
Walgreens - Julie from Kingdom Klipper
Meijer - Becky from Nickels-N-Dimes
Office Max - Andrea from Mommy Snacks
Walmart - Tara from Deal Seeking Mom
In addition, I'll be covering the weekly bargains at Staples. We'll be posting these weekly deals until the beginning of the school year. So, start making your list and checking it twice - the bargains have just begun!

I noticed some great deals at Wal-Mart on the basics, but I am definitely not ready to start thinking about going back to school. What's next...Christmas??!! :)
Ugh.
Back to school??
SO not ready....

Great idea - I'll look forward to finding all the bargains. I was just in Target and saw the back to school items (already???) & saw a woman buying stuff today. I thought, boy, she should wait for the sales!
I look out for sales on the items that I know are on the back-to-school lists throughout the summer so I don't have to buy supplies for five kids all at once in August!! I buy a little each week and hopefully this year it will be more manageable than last year (bought them all at the same time last year, UGH!!!)
I would love to provide Rite Aid for your list if you are interested!
They have a decent deal on notebooks and pens this week!
